Wow has it been a long time since I have posted anything on here. I wouldn't even think of trying to pick up where I left off. So I will just start from today. Today is friday, my favorite day of the week. Because tomorrow I don't have to wake up early get everyone ready make breakfast and lunch and get everyone out the door in time to take Travis to work and Evelyn to school. I love my weekends :) So last night we went to get the girls pictures taken at the picture people. They turned out beautiful. We only got three of them and that was the hardest thing ever!! There were so many cute and beautiful pictures. But I really love the three we came home with. I almost started crying when it came to look at all the pictures at the store. I just can't believe that these beautiful girls are mine. I am so proud to be there Mommy. I tell them beauty is as beauty does. And they are so beautiful inside and out. And they are growing up so fast!! I wish time would slow down a little so that I can enjoy it before it's gone. So here are the pictures we came home with. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Just wanted to share some pictures and a little story of a dinner experience at our local Carrow's. Here in Murrieta, at the Carrow's kids eat free on Thursdays. So last Thursday we decided to eat out. We get there and we noticed a sign on the door said "Magic show, balloon animals, and face painting done by Sparkles the clown." The girls were really excited. So Sparkles the clown came over to our table and made Evelyn a balloon princess crown and Katelyn a bunny with a heart around it. We told the girls they couldn't get their face painted until they ate all their food. So we ordered and then the food comes out. Well our waitress was a sweet girl who happened to be Hispanic. I mention this because Evelyn (our incredibly smart 4 year old) then says, as the waitress puts down Evelyn's food in front of her, "Muchos Gracias". We were a little bit shocked and some what embarrassed. But the waitress just laughed and told her your welcome. So silly! So then the girls went to wait for their turn to get their face painted. The lady did a wonderful job. Here are some pictures.

So every year we have had season passes to Sea World, probably for the last 3 years. So we decided that this year we would not get Sea World, but get the Wild Animal Park and the San Diego Zoo instead. So last weekend it was the perfect day to go. It was suppose to rain on Monday so it was very cloudy but not to cold. The animal park can be very hot. Plus since it was so nice and cool and not sunny, all the animals would be out. So we get to the park the girls are very excited and the first place we come to is the petting zoo. This was a so cool, because there was no annoying goats. It was all kinds of deer. Just deer! We loved it! It was so neat because when we went to Idaho we saw tons of deer, but we could never get close. So here are some pictures of the girls petting the deer. It was very cool. Then we were off to ride the tour bus, but on the way we stopped at the Lorikeets. We thought it would be so cool to have the birds sit on the girls. Well we forgot how crazy those birds can get. So as soon as we get through the door one lands on Katelyn's cute little head and she freaks out. She was done from that point on and didn't want to play with the birdies anymore. So I was holding the food cause I didn't want Evelyn to freak out when they all jumped on her and waste the food by throwing it down on the ground. So Evelyn was fine with the one bird on her arm until one flew on her head. So then she freaked out cause her Dad said, "Eww it just pee'd in your hair." Then she stared freaking out. Travis and I were laughing so hard. So we got the bird off of her, and it bit Travis, which was even more funny. So I just let them all jump on me and finish eating. Katelyn was very concerned that all these birds were on Mommy and she was getting upset. So then we left. Evelyn would then from that point on refer to them as the pee birds and would remind us the rest of the day how much she didn't like the pee birds. So then we went on the tour bus which was pretty cool. Then we walked around the lower part of the park. We saw some cheetahs and some other animals up close. But was really really cool was the Lions. They seemed so close! Travis got some amazing pictures. Then we walked around to some other animals until it was time for lunch. We got to eat next to some Marmosets. Evelyn was so excited because she had learned a little bit about them on Diego. So it was neat for her to see what one looked like in real life. Then we saw some Gorillas and then it was off to the bird show and right after the bird show was the Animal show. Both of them were really neat. The park closed at five, but we had a great day and I hope you enjoy all the pictures. And like always there are a ton more on the smug mug site. The link is at the bottom. Oh yeah and on our way home we saw an ostrich farm. We had seen a ton of ostrich on the tour bus. So when we told Evelyn to look at all the ostriches. And when she saw all of them she said in really loud and worried voice "Daddy did they escape?" Travis and I laughed so hard and then explained that they weren't from the park and that that was just a farm for different ostriches. I love my girls!!! :)

Apologies

Well I just wanted to apologize to every one who keeps up with my blog. I have a lot of catching up to do. But it will still be a while till I am able to do that. Due to a number of reasons so as soon as my husband rebuilds my computer cause it's running really slow and when he up loads the pictures for me then I will get back to posting the busy happenings of the Miller family. So until then please check back periodically and I will do my best to post things right away.
Love, The Miller Family

Backyardagains!

We recieved some free tickets to go see the Backyardagains live on stage. On the Nokia stage in LA. The girls had a blast it was so much fun. Here are some pictures, they were taken on Travis' camera phone.

Heritage Park

There is this really cool park that is on an island. It is near Travis' grand parent's house. So we finally took the girls to go see it. Here a just a few of the pictures please go to the smug mug to go see the rest there are some really neat pictures on there. It's called Heritage Park. There are all these cute buildings set in Adams Town. We had to leave afer it started pouring because they close it off. But we can't wait to go back.

Here is Katelyn dancing in the rain before we had to leave.

Harvest 2008

We went to Calvary Murrieta's harvest celebration. Katelyn is the head cheerleader and Evelyn is who else but Cinderella. Katelyn would have been Lella too but there were no dresses her size. Here are some fun pictures of the girls having fun.

there was lots of jumping things and a giant slide. The slide was Evelyn's favorite thing there. They even had some miniature ponies that the girls got to pet and brush.

We ran into Aunt Sarah and Uncle Robert. Ellyce the angel and Ellyjah the cutest puppy ever!

We then headed over to Lighthouse Assembly to their Harvest Celebration. Where we met up with Dave and Misty's family. Katelyn won her bright pink monkey which she named Ah Ah. Evelyn won her Hello Kitty doll which she can't sleep with out she just loves it so much.

We all had a ton of fun!
